DescriptionArcus Property assessed site options and provided feasibility analysis for the development of a new, post-quake Environment Canterbury Regional Council headquarters in the Christchurch CBD.
Working within a number of development constraints, Arcus formulated various options for the site and surrounding properties. This project involved assessment of land, building costs, market rentals and yields as well as engineering considerations. The size and scope of the proposed development provided a unique and exciting challenge for Arcus.
Ultimately, Environment Canterbury used Arcus Property’s report to gain approval for the purchase and development of their new office headquarters located on Tuam Street, Christchurch. The building was completed and opened in 2016.
